How To Make Baingan Sabji Recipe



Baingan Ingredients

200 gms brinjals cut in long size (baingan)
1 onion chopped
2 garlic (lehsun) chopped  cloves
3 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp coriander  ( dhania) powder
1 tsp chili powder
¾ tsp garam masala
½ turmeric (haldi) powder
1 bunch green coriander  ( dhania) chopped
2 tbsp oil
1 piece ginger chopped
salt to taste


Method To Make Baingan Sabji


  • Heat oil. Fry onion to brown color. Add garlic (lehsun) and ginger (adrak). Fry for 3 min.
  • Add coriander, turmeric and chilli powders. Sprinkle salt. Fry fot a minute. Add tomatoes and cook. When tomatoes become paste like add brinjal (baingan) pieces. Mix well. cover vessel and cook for 5 to 6 min. In between stir once or twice. If brinjals (baingan) feel raw cook for same more time.
  • Add green coriander and garam masala, keep covered for same time.  Serve.
